Cover of Interzone issue 296: Red, Fuchsia, Purple, and Yellow tones. In the foreground, a young person with dark hair holds their fingers on what might be a net.

What a great cover, huh? The illustration is by Sloane Leong and appears on the cover of Interzone 296. It contains my story, “0x11 Scenarios to Stop the Train,” which purports to answer the question, “What if Anna Karenina had a smartphone?” and I’ll have more to say about that when it’s out.

I have to say that I’m quite chuffed to appear in Interzone, one of the all-time great SF publications. That it has such stunning cover art makes me even happier.

The issue is available now for pre-order, and ships next May.
