Jon Lasser was born in New York City. He lives in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, Washington with his wife and two children.
His stories have appeared or are forthcoming in Interzone, Kaleidotrope, Underland Arcana, and elsewhere. He is a graduate of the Clarion West class of 2016.
When not writing or working in the tech industry, Jon watches birds, plays pinball with his children, cooks, drinks at Ballard’s twelve (or is that fourteen?) microbreweries when there’s not a plague on, and writes assembly language software for his Apple II. He hopes to be healthy enough to scuba dive again one day, and prefers cold-water over tropical diving, though he wouldn’t turn down a vacation to Maui or Bonaire, whether or not he can dive.
