I hate crowdsourcing because I just want Dim Sum, and on Yelp I find out that every restaurant has poor service, cold greasy food, is too expensive, inauthentic, and makes people sick. It’s like the old joke: the food is terrible, and the portions are too small.

All of which means that people feel motivated to report their bad experiences, like lording their notions of correctness over other people, are impatient, don’t know what they’re talking about, and confuse correlation with causation.

All I wanted was to figure out where to go for lunch. The Internet may have been invented to talk about science fiction, but talking about Chinese food should be a close second!
